Securing package goods / Marking
We mark all packaging with the symbols listed below.
Regulations and country fiches
Under the IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention), a sub-organization of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), phytosanitary regulations were enacted for international trade in solid wood packaging. Gühring complies with the guidelines that are necessary for handling packaging made of wood. Heat treatment to a core temperature of 56 °C for a minimum of 30 minutes is accepted.
Gühring is authorized to label packaging in accordance with the labeling regulation. The Plant Conservation Agency has assigned us a number. This number is an important part of the labeling code.
Gühring fulfills all these standards and offers its customers optimal service. This complements other factors such as safety and on time deliveries as part of our service. The following list contains the countries that will implement the IPPC standard in the near future or have already done so. An overview of the main requirements and the date of implementation is provided.
